The Sabre Team had the only two Rookies in the feild for the annual

One Hour Race held each year as a fitting end to the Summer Series.

 

The Race involves two compulsary fuel Stops a minimum of 2 litres per stop.

 

Early in the Race the Team had  cars first and second, but Runner up in the Summer Series Ryan Hellier was hunting them down.

 

Tim Fox in the #20 car had a throttle problem which made him pit loosing two laps.

 

How ever Speedsport Scholarship winner Aaron Marr in the #21 Car was running second for the remainder of the Race finishing just 12 seconds off eventual winner Hellier. Marr setting the fastest time of the Race.

 

A great Race held in reasonable conditions a small shower mid race didnt effect things to much.

 

The Teams attention now turns to the Speedsport Scholarship Weekend 25/26th of May 2013 and then the start of the Manfeild Winter Series June 1/2nd.
