The Last round of the Series was held at Taupo over Easter Weekend.

Sabre had The Tradezone Speedsport Scholarship car to run for Malcolm Finch.

The Team had high expectations following the fitting of the New Sabre 001 Cylinder Heads giving Positive Dyno results, the car showed it had the legs to run at the front and it took a podium finish in race two, 3rd place and 8th place overall in the Series.

The Sabre Team has worked endlessly this season on technical improvement and the progress over the season was pleasing. This development will put the Team firmly on the front  foot for the coming season, and with strong interest already for the Manfeild Winter Series and the 2012/13 Championship Season the Team is looking forward to better reward for its efforts.

 

Sabre would Like to Congratulate Matt Higham for his Series Win and Ryan Hellier and Rowan Shepherd for 2nd and 3rd. Special Congratulations to Rowan Shepherd to be the first Rookie to take the Rookie Title out side of the Sabre Team for 11 Years, Well done Rowan.
